"Surprisingly fun for the whole family"
We originally got CrunchLabs for my son, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much all of us got into it. Somehow we always end up gathered around the table building it together, laughing, and taking a nice break from screens. A few parts definitely take some patience, but that’s part of what makes it fun

"My kid was happy with it"
My kid really liked it, so that part was a win. I do think it’s a bit pricey for what it is, though. Weirdly, the thing I remember most is my kid carrying it around while wearing one sock for like an hour, so I guess it made an impression.

"My kid has put this thing…"
My kid has put this thing through what feels like a full obstacle-course season, and the main pieces have held up really well. Most of the materials seem solid, though a couple of the smaller parts do feel a little on the cheap side. Nothing has actually broken so far, so I’m still happy with the durability overall. It’s not absolutely perfect, but it’s definitely tougher than I expected

"My kid was really excited about the…"
My kid was really excited about the Crunch Labs box and did end up liking it, but the build was tougher than we expected. A few steps felt kind of rushed, and it was like every time we thought we understood what to do next, the goalposts moved and we had to pause or rewind the video again. We did get it working in the end, so that was cool, but it definitely wasn’t as smooth or easy as we hoped. Great concept, just a little frustrating to get through.

"Fun box and easy to follow"
I got a crunchlabs box for my kid and we had a good time with it. The instructions were clear for the most part. There was one step that kind of threw us off for a minute, but it wasn’t a big deal once we looked at it again. Overall it was fun, not really confusing, and kept my kid interested.

"Product worked, but the packaging was rough"
The item itself worked fine once I got it out, so no complaints there. But the packaging showed up really beat up, like it had been tossed around a lot. I reached out to support just to mention it, and the response felt like a copy-paste answer that didn’t really address what I said, which was frustrating. Overall, the product is okay, but the delivery and support experience could’ve been better

"Fun idea, but it didn’t really land for us"
I mostly ordered this because of Mark Rober, and the videos made it look way more exciting. When the box showed up, it was fine, just not quite the same in person. A few pieces felt kind of cheap, and my kid was into it for a little bit but lost interest fast. Shipping also took longer than I expected, which didn’t help. It wasn’t awful or anything, I just thought it would feel more like... I don’t know, more worth the price maybe. Not really for us.

My kid is 10, and these boxes have been just right for them. They’re challenging enough to keep it interesting, but not so hard that it gets frustrating. Overall, I’m really happy with them.

"Fun kits, but the waiting is rough"
CrunchLabs has made science feel fun for my son instead of like extra homework. He gets so into the builds and talks about them for days afterward, which I love. The only annoying part is the waiting between boxes, he gets impatient, so do I because he keeps asking when the next one is coming...

"Fun kits, but the value and ownership feel a little unclear"
The kits are cool, and my kid genuinely enjoys them, so I can’t say it’s a bad buy. That said, the price feels a little high for what you actually get. I also wish it was clearer who’s really behind or responsible for everything, because the ownership side feels a bit vague. Overall, it’s fine and fun, just not something I’d call an amazing value

I got this for my 10-year-old, and he actually stayed off the iPad for most of the afternoon, which felt like a win. The build was a little messy, but in a fun way, if that makes sense, and he was really proud of himself when it all worked. The instructions were easy enough to follow, and we’ll probably grab another box.

"Smooth Renewal and No Billing Surprises"
My subscription renewed and I got the email right away, which already felt like a good sign. I had a quick billing question, and the response was clear and straightforward, no confusing wording or random extra charges hidden in there. i judge services a lot by how they handle billing, and this felt easy and transparent. Managing everything was simple too, so I’m happy with it. 5 stars from me

We’ve rebuilt the projects a bunch of times now, and somehow my son still isn’t bored. I’ll think, okay, maybe he’s done with it... but nope, he pulls them out again and wants to start over.

We’ve been really happy with CrunchLabs so far. What I like is that it’s not just the same kind of activity every time, there are builds, videos, science-y moments, and some random fun challenges mixed in. Reading between the lines, I think that variety is what keeps my kid from losing interest, because each box feels a little different. A few parts have needed some extra help from me, but that’s been fine. Overall, it’s been a fun experience for us and feels worth it

"Small hiccup, but it all worked out"
One piece was missing when the set arrived, so I emailed them and they sent it out really quickly. it turned into a good little reminder that not everything has to go perfectly for it to still be a great experience. My kid loved the build anyway, and in the end it wasn’t a big deal at all

"Honestly, the projects are surprisingly good"
My kid’s been doing crunchlabs for a few months now, and I have to admit, the projects are actually really well made. The parts fit together nicely, the instructions are easy to follow, and nothing feels cheap, which is more than I can say for a lot of these kids’ kits. We’ve had a good time building them together, even if I’m a little annoyed it took me this long to try them

"Canceling Was a Hassle"
Canceling took way more steps than it should have. It felt like everything was set up to make the process frustrating, and the way it was handled seemed careless. I just wanted to cancel and move on, but it ended up taking much longer than expected.
